Efficient cleaning of feeding buckets without removing teats
The importance of high standards of hygiene in calf feeding is undisputed. Healthy calves grow up to be high-yielding dairy cows. However, a lot of processes are time-consuming and tedious – for example, cleaning teat buckets thoroughly on a regular basis. We are therefore thrilled to be working with our partner, EimiWash! This has allowed us to include a product in our range that gets the job done in a flash: a kind of ‘dishwasher’ for teat buckets. It is used to automatically clean buckets fitted with the HIKO 1-Click system, without the teats first having to be removed. The perfect solution for fast and thorough bucket cleaning.
It is available in two models: the EimiWash i2, for cleaning 2 teat buckets, suitable for farms handling up to 20 buckets a day, and the EimiWash i4, for cleaning 4 buckets, when there are a large number of buckets to clean.
The EimiWash principle
When designing the two EimiWash models, the i4 and i2, we paid particular attention to ergonomics, efficiency and perfect cleaning results. EimiWash is modelled on industrial washing machines with a modified design. They clean the entire feeding bucket thoroughly and effectively, including the valve teat.
To this end, the connector specially developed for the HIKO 1-Click feeding bucket is inserted into the bucket, which is then placed in the basket. Depending on the model, the special basket can hold 2 or 4 buckets for simultaneous cleaning.

Simple and intuitive operation
Insert the basket, press the start button and EimiWash will do the work for you. Bucket cleaning is very fast thanks to very short cycle times of up to 2 minutes per wash cycle.
Automatic cleaning and rinsing means that no further work is required on your part. You simply remove the feeding buckets and hang them upside down on the EimiCaddy to dry.
Effective and resource-efficient cleaning
The appliance works with hot and cold water and a small amount of detergent. We recommend connecting the EimiWash to the hot water supply for better cleaning results. Optimum use is made of the cleaning water, resulting in very low water consumption of a maximum of 1.5 litres per bucket. The specially developed detergent is also dispensed automatically and precisely to the millilitre, conserving resources and protecting the environment.
Cleanliness and hygiene
The feeding buckets are cleaned both inside and out. High pressure flushes the suction valve from the inside out, removing any deposits and germs. The detergent reliably dissolves grease residues, but is also gentle on buckets and teats. Tests have shown a reduction in germs compared to conventional hand washing.
Useful accessories
New to the range: a variety of accessories for both the i2 and the i4. With additional cleaning baskets, it is now possible to automatically clean large milk churns, teat bucket lids, feeding bowls and even small items such as teat valves and similar items.
